Intel and AMD are ready to beat Nvidia

PC users must be familiar with the competition of two giants of the world's largest processor manufacturers, namely Intel and AMD. After a long time competing with each other, Intel and AMD finally decided to work together to develop a new laptop chipset in order to compete with Nvidia.

Quoted from the Ubergizmo page, Wednesday (8/11/2017), this new Intel Core processor will combine high-performance CPU with a special graphics card from AMD. Both companies claim, this chip is intended for use in notebooks are thin and portable. Later, portable notebook will provide the experience of playing AAA games with graphics quality equivalent to a PC.

Mentioned, this new chip is a combination of Intel Core Gen 8 processor with third party C core H graphics from AMD Radeon group. Intel also revealed the chip made by two competing companies will be the first consumer products using EMIB technology (Embedded Multi-Die Interconnect Bridge) that ensures super-fast communication between components. Interestingly, the EMIB can also connect the HBM (High Bandwidth Memory) chip of the 2nd Gen which indicates the use of GPU chip made by AMD, Vega.
